We Fund Cancer Research to Support Those Affected by Cancer

Story

Pro Cancer Research Fund, Orchid Walk 2011 will be helping fund research into Prostate and Breast Cancer as well as supporting those affected by Cancer.

The Orchid walk, held annually in North Cyprus, is PCRF’s largest event and is the primary source of income that keeps the charity going.

The four most common cancers - breast, lung, colorectal and prostate - accounted for more than half of the 245,300 new cases of malignant cancer (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer) registered in England in 2007. Of the total number of new cases, 123,100 were in males and 122,200 in females. Breast cancer accounted for 31 per cent of cases among women and prostate cancer for 25 per cent among men.

I hope to be doing this 12 mile walk in the Kyrenian Mountains on February 20th 2011 to raise money for this amazing cause, please help me to reach my sponsorship target, any amount you can sponsor would be great :) Thanks a lot :)
