We provide palliative care and support to adult patients and their families.

Story

Two years ago my Step-Dad sadly lost his battle to cancer whilst staying in the Woking Hospice. The hospice was great to my family and I whilst we were dealing with his illness and still continue to support us now two years on.

I belong to a bereavement group dedicated to young teens called Tommy D, a counselling group run by the Woking Hospice in memory of Tom Di Felice, who was killed in a car accicent in 2009, at the age of 17. Following this terrible incident, the family of Tommy decided to set up a group for young teens effected by the death of those who had been staying in the Woking Hospice. The aim of the group is to help aid young teenagers between the ages of 12-18 deal with bereavement.

The Kenya Project has been organised by Tommy D to help those with less support than us, out in a Kenyan Orphanage, to deal with the bereavement we have experienced.
