Since 2005, I have been raising funds to educate the children living in the slums of Bangladesh. Our program is currently supporting 145 children at the best schools in Dhaka.

For the children in Gawair, going to school is a daunting task and something they can never imagine doing in a lifetime. I chose to swim the Bangla Channel because for me, this is a also a huge daunting task as I am not a swimmer and have always been afraid of water and the sea. My mentor Tobias Frenz introduced me to the challenge and I am thankful to him for his constant support and inspiration.

My super patient swimming coach Kevin Millerick has been teaching me how to swim for last couple of months but I have so much work to do to get anywhere near the level required. Support my challenge and help educate 145 children.
