On Saturday June 15^th, 2019, Morecambe Bay’s Oral & Maxillofacial Department will be gathering on Morecambe promenade between 6am and 9am before embarking on a sponsored cycle ride along the Way of the Roses, a waymarked route along quiet lanes from one side of the country to the other. 
All involved, including family & friends, & colleagues from other specialties, can be sponsored for their efforts, and will attempt to ride as far as they can. The total distance from Morecambe to Bridlington is 170miles and a few may attempt to get all the way within the day!!

We are raising money to pay for much needed surgical equipment, including some to be put towards a Cone Beam CT machine. This is a state-of-the-art scanner which will allow for accurate assessment of trauma and cancers and give a 3-dimensional image of any dental and facial deformity cases.
