In April and May 2007 I will Trek to the peak of Mount Kinabalu in Borneo - The granite summit of Mount Kinabalu rises 4,101m(13,455ft) above the rain forest in the Kinabalu National Park. It is the highest peak in the Malay Archipelago.
The challenge also consists of 170km of cross county cycling, white water rafting and jungle trekking.
For those of you who know me, you will also understand the extra challenge involved for me personally, as I currently get out of breath just thinking about stairs.
I'm am doing this for the Institute of Cancer Research, and like many people I have had the misfortune of seeing this terrible disease effect and take away people close to me. Although I have set a target of £3000, I would like to raise as much as possible for this worthwhile cause.
