We help people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose.

Story

Why does Mencap need its very own Santa?

To make sure that all the boys and girls with a learning disability and their families, wherever they live, are on the list this Christmas.

What special qualities do you have that would make you the perfect Santa for 2007?

I believe in fun and in magic but I also have my pen and clipboard ready to check the lists from all around the world to make sure no-one is forgotten.

Santa is responsible for the magic and spirit of Christmas. If you could grant the Mencap community one wish, what would it be?

That everyone could experience the magic in the hearts of the people with a learning disability I will meet at the 'Mencap Rocks' Christmas concert in Northern Ireland this year.

I am only one of a number of  Santa ‘Wannabees’. If you would like to see who my competitors are this year you can visit their links below. But please PLEASE don’t vote for them, VOTE FOR ME – after all, you don’t want to risk being put you onto my ‘naughty children’ list do you?!
