Story
Update 08/05/2011: Now back home after a fortnight of suffering and wonderful memories, I've added a few piccies giving you a flavour of what it was like. Penny did a great job. Many thanks to all for your kind support, in particular Corinne and Beaumont Seymour. The money you have donated will help people in crisis, so thank you for making it all worthwhile. Finally, please think about taking a first aid course with the Red Cross as one day you will use your skills to help someone in difficulty.
Update 10/04/2011: Thanks to all who have sponsored and donated. 11 days to go, then I'm on the train with Penny (the bike) up to Scotland.
Update 24/01/2011: I haven't given up on this silly idea yet, I've been riding about with bags of flour in my saddlebags. Thanks for your support.
John O Groats to Lands End, about 1000 miles on a pushbike in April 2011. I'll be finding a patch of grass every night to put my tent on.
Every penny raised will go to the British Red Cross, see the link on the left hand side for information about the work they do. Please give generously or take a first aid course with the Red X, because someday you will use your skills to help someone in trouble.
