Not content with the odd half marathon, 2012 will see me run 12 half marathons throughout the UK. Just to add the icing on the cake I will also complete a coast to coast cycle ride in September.

This event starts on Sunday 12th February in Portsmouth with eleven more runs to be completed before finishing before year end.

Not only will this be an epic achievement personally, but a great opportunity to raise as much money as possible for my charity of choice Rainbows Children's Hospice in Leicestershire, a fantastic cause for children with life limiting illnesses.

Everything raised here will help towards Rainbows required 4 million pounds a year to simply keep the hospice's 12 beds open. To find out more about what Rainbows do please visit www.rainbows.co.uk
