Assalamualykum

I have joined the East London Mosque 'Youth Pledge' and my target is to raise £1000, to raise funds for the new project, ELM Phase 2: The Maryam Centre.
This year (2010) the ELM is celebrating 100 years of serving the community.

In 2004 they built the London Muslim Centre (LMC) which attracted over 15,000 on the open day, praying behind Shaykh Abdur Rahman As-Sudais, the Imam of Masjid Al-Haram.

Now, they need your help, as the Masjid is expanding once again!

The New Masjid and Centre will have:

-Extra Prayer space for men and women, with a new Main Hall for the ELM
-Educational facilities, including Girls Primary and Secondary School
-Improved funeral facilities
-Hayaa Fitness for Women only
-More Projects for Women
and Much much more...

So, dig deep into your pockets, empty your wallets, and squeeze out those extra change from your purse, and help me reach my target. You can also donate on behalf of your loved ones, who have passed away, and will receive the reward of donating.
