Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm planning to complete a 1000 mile cycle ride from John o'Groats to Lands End over two weeks starting 5th September 2009.  The ride is something I've wanted to do for a while and to mark the occasion I'm going to make a donation to a charity called ILEAP.  I'd be delighted to accept any contributions from you to encourage me on my challenge if you feel you want to give.

ILEAP is a charity providing leisure activities for children with special needs in Warwickshire.  We have seen and felt the benefit of the work of the charity directly.  Special needs children tend to have few local school friends as they travel distances to school.  This means that without the work of ILEAP, school holidays in particular can be difficult for children and parents alike.  ILEAP provides much needed activities and socialising for the children and I am pleased to make my donation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
