Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I wont keep you long.

May 7th 2010, break leg and arm riding mountain bike into parked car. Operation on leg/knee, 8 nights in hospital. Full length leg cast for 9 weeks. Arm for 6. Breathe.

Week 2 back at work. Get bored being "pushed around", buy trike off eBay, remove lefthand crank, learn to ride 1 legged. Freedom. (interesting handling characteristics),Build up mileage slowly. Concept 2 rower with a skateboard under bad leg works. Must keep moving. Breathe.

July 25th 2010 to bike ride. 57 miles, 1 leg. Raising money for new Teenage cancer unit at Addenbrookes, . Hard being a teenager anyhow without being diagnosed with cancer. Only 50% will get specialist facilities to help them feel like teenagers during treatment. Lets help change this for teenagers and their families in who will benefit directly from your generosity. Thanks. R.
