MOVEMBER MARKY MARK

Having never ever grown a moustache, or a beard - I decided it was time to venture into the unknown world of male facial hair and go for it.  The idea of Movember is a fantastic idea to raise awareness of men's health issues, specifically cancers affecting men. 

 

For years now, us men have supported our wives, girlfriends, mums doing the Race For Life – which involves pre-training, getting up early on the morning to get the venue and then running 5K, usually on the one day of 30 degrees during the summer.  Well, doing Movember is the least us men can do – remember no training, no running, just not shaving for a month.  Come on lads !

 

I will be raising money for the NNUH-Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal to provide a dedicated Brachytherapy Suite at the NNUH.  This would mean bringing an improved form of radio-treatment to Norfolk, rather than having to send patients to Hospitals outside the county.  So if you would like to donate, please go to http://www.justgiving.com/mark-pointer.
