Story
Well what an amazing experience it was. Managed to complete it in one piece in 4hrs 53 mins! Couldn't have done it without the amazing support of my fantastic family who were there to cheer me on and lift my spirits at five different points along the route - thank you McCabes, Hobbs, Boyles, Clarkes, Lawries, Foleys, Fitzpatricks and Grimsells!
And a huge thank you to everyone for their very generous donations to St Giles.
I did it Kev!

The fact you are on this page means I have finally made the commitment to go through with what friends and family have referred to as 'madness' and 'insanity' - the London Marathon.
I originally got my place for last year's race - but as you all know 2011 turned out to be a year none of us would have wanted.
Having deferred my entry to this year, I am now devoting all the hours of hard slog that marathon training requires, to try and raise as much as possible for the wonderful St Giles Hospice charity - so that they can continue to offer the amazing work and support that we were able to benefit from during Kevin's last few weeks at home.
I'm doing it for Kev!
