Hannah's story is truly inspirational and what a great way to honour her legacy than through this charity. Hannah was diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer called osteosarcoma. The charity aims to support vital research into osteosarcoma and to grant equine related wishes to seriously ill people and their families. 

This charity is not only for equestrians as the amount of research being carried out because of this amazing charity into bone cancer will help everyone in the future. 

The challenge I have chosen to do is a Husky Trail through Lapland. I will spend six days sledding through the rolling highlands and deep forests of Lapland. This challenge will mean sledding a total of 250km from Norway into Sweden through untouched nature, in order to finish at the world famous Ice Hotel (the original!) in Jukkasjarvi! 

The challenge starts in the Arctic city of Tromso, where we meet our husky companions. After meeting and greeting our furry friends, we then dive straight into the spirit of adventure and spend our first night in a traditional Lavvo, surrounding the roaring fire. During the challenge we will have to put up our own tents, cook for ourselves and fulfil all camping duties with the equipment provided. In addition to looking after ourselves, we'll also be responsible for looking after our teams of huskies.  Watching the Northern Lights and tending our dogs will give us an exact experience for living as the Laplanders do.
