Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page, please donate whatever you can!

We are doing three runs, the Yorkshire 10k Run in May, the Humber Bridge Half Marathon in June and the York 10k run in August and will be raising money in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

We would really, really appreciate your sponsorship for running what will be around 26 miles each in 2009....the equivelent of a marathon!

****Update: we completed the Yorkshire 10k Lynsey in 56 mins and Dan in 1hr 3 mins despite his knee injury he was a brave trooper! Thanks for all your support so far we are looking forward to completing the challenge!****

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease affecting over 8,000 people in the UK.  CF primarily affects the lungs and digestive system makeing it hard to breathe and digest food.

Each week, five babies are born with CF and three young lives are lost to Cystic Fibrosis.

The current average life expectancy is still just 31 years old.

Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cystic Fibrosis Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
