Fundraising for The National Deaf Children's Society
Story
This week, Swansea University Netball Club are taking part in The Great SUNC Sweat Off to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society!!! From Mon 23rd to Sat 28th October, SUNC will be:
Swimming 12 miles - Mumbles to Oxwich Bay
Rowing 41 miles - length of River Taff
Cycling 43 miles - Swansea to Cardiff
Climbing 2909 steps - number of steps in Burj Khalifa
Walking 100 miles - large group to and from the Mumbles!
We are raising money for the National Deaf Children's Society and would appreciate your support by donating. This is a charity that supports deaf children and young people to help them get the most out of life. There are over 45,000 deaf children in the UK, and without the right support they are vulnerable to isolation, abuse, bullying, poor self-esteem and low levels of achievement.
