Story

Hi all below is an update of our latest fundraising adventure and pls read below to see our previous efforts and donors - many thanks x x x

We are The Achy Breaky Bears a group of not so elite athletes and generally bad blokes from Northampton who will be tackling a number of challenges that will push us to our limits !!!

The first challenge that we will be doing is the completely and utterly ridiculously horrible looking Tough Mudder UK on Star Wars Day 2013 (Saturday May 4th). Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. Information and videos on the event may be found here www.toughmudder.co.uk

We will be completing the course to raise money for GOSH as the son of team captain Mark Pittam has been under their care over the past 2 years and Great ormond Street are doing an amazing job so if people can dig as deep as possible that would be amazing even if its only £1 it all helps towards this great cause !!!

Lucas The Brave Little Bear

As a lot of our friends and family know Lucas has had a very hard year and has been in and out of hospital since birth and although he has been treated at Northampton and Leicester Hospital he now needs to treated at Great Ormond Street.
Great Ormond Street are doing an amazing job so we have set up this page to try to raise some money for the hospital and to spread the word about the truly amazing work they do for sick children, even if you can only donate £1 it all helps.
Thank you for looking at Lucas's page and thank you to everyone who has helped us over this last year you all have been amazing x x

Thank you to Josephine Purcell for the offline donation of £97.00

It would mean a lot to us if you would give a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Your donation will make a real difference Donations raised through Lucas’s tribute page will be allocated to an inflammatory bowel disease project, and will go on to support research into this much needed area of infant Gastroenterology.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
