At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

The Alzheimer's Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with dementia. There are 750,000 people suffering from dementia in the UK alone, and numbers are set to raise to one million by 2025.

We, at Birmingham City Univeristy have decided to try and raise as much money as we can in order to help the many sufferers of dementia and the work done by the Alzheimer's Society.

As well as raising money through various cake sales and online, we are holding a nostalgic summer fete at St. Paul's Square in Birmingham on Thursday 3rd June from 12:00pm to 7:30pm. For more information on Nostalgic Love-a-Fayre, please visit our blog at www.nostalgiclove-a-fayre.blogspot.com

For more information on Alzheimer's and the charity itself, please visit the Alzheimer's Society website at www.alzheimers.org.uk

We would appreciate any donations, big or small, to help such a worthy cause.
