Story
We are the Lost Terriers and we have decided to try and raise as much money as possible for the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, by taking part in an 8,000 kilometre journey beginning June 17th from South Africa to Malawi, while participating in shoe drops that directly benefit local children.
This page has been set up to raise money for our chosen charity and to help us gain as much support as possible, so please donate whatever you can in order to help us reach our goal! We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
Please note all monies raised are for charity, nothing raised here will be going towards our adventure.
Last year my good mate and his partner sadly lost their baby and I know that the children's hospice gave them some comfort at a terrible time. Therefore, I'm raising money for the hospice and the services they provide as a way of showing my support for the both of them and Olivia.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life shortening conditions and their families in West Yorkshire. They support children and families in many different ways to make their lives just a little bit easier. From offering respite to hydrotherapy, music therapy, neonatal care, counselling or bereavement support; their care team supports the whole family both at their purpose built hospice in Huddersfield as well in families own homes. They need to raise £3.8million each year with just 6% of this coming from government sources.
