Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We have double sculled the river Thames from Lechlade to Putney (140 miles) over 4 days, finally arriving at Putney on Saturday evening on 16th June.
We did this to raise money for The Neuroblastoma Society and in memory of our son, Locke, who died from this cancer on 26th May 2007, 6 months after diagnosis. Though Locke received excellent treatment and care at Addenbrooke's Hospital, not enough is known about the disease to cure many children. We think The Neuroblastoma Society is the best way of channelling funds towards a cure for this aggressive childhood cancer.
Thank you for all your continuing support.
