Thank you for taking the time to visit my London Marathon charity page... It wasn't long ago that I was asking for donations for the half marathon BUT this time it's the big one - so I need all the help I can get!

 

I can't believe I am really doing this but it is for a great cause and I'll be really proud of myself if I can actually run/walk/crawl around a 26+ mile course.

 

I am raising money for Interact Worldwide, which is part of Plan UK. It might not be as close to home but it does some really important work to improve universal access to family planning, maternal health and HIV and AIDS services around the world.

 

Did you know, every second, 5 people die because of HIV and AIDS; a woman from Africa is 237 times more likely to die from complications in pregnancy than a woman in the UK; and 40,000,000 people are currently living with HIV and AIDS worldwide.  

 

If I can go just a little way to helping this cause, it would be amazing... so please help me to make this happen!  Any donation would be amazing, no matter how big or small, so please take the time to sponsor me.

 

I am fully expecting 3 and a half long months of training (which I have already started, despite the snow!) but it will be worth it!
