CB Challenge 2017 · 15 September 2017
Gus, Suli, Lisa and Elaine have joined forces to take part in the annual Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking Challenge to raise funds for the Group Charity of the year – Mental Health UK. This is the tenth annual Commercial Banking Challenge and it takes place on Friday 15 September in Clapham Common. On the day there will be over 30 physical and mental activities available to complete.
Help us to exceed our target and raise money for a very worthy cause.
Lloyds Banking Group is proud to be working in partnership with Mental Health UK, with colleagues across the Group volunteering and aiming to raise at least £2 million per year.
Mental illness affects more people every year than cancer or heart disease. One in four of us in the UK will be affected by a mental health problem in any given year, and of these around four million will also struggle will their financial wellbeing. Through early interventions and support, the impact of poor mental health can be reduced.
Mental Health UK is a network of four national charities who have come together to tackle mental illness across the UK; Rethink Mental Illness in England, Hafal in Wales, MindWise in Northern Ireland and Support in Mind Scotland. Our fundraising will go to Mental Health UK.
