This is a group fundraising page for all staff of Moore and Smalley participating in Le Tour de Smalley.

What?

On Friday 18th July 2014, Moore and Smalley brings to you the inaugural "Tour de Smalley" event.

Over the course of the day we will be cycling a virtual route of 298km, from our northern-most office in Kendal, down to out our southern-most base in Nottingham. Along the way we will be "stopping off" in Kirby Lonsdale, Lancaster, Blackpool, Preston and Southport. 

In practical terms, a team of 50 of our most energetic employees will be pushing pedals on two bikes in our Preston Office foyer (call in to support us!!)

Why Ronald McDonald House Charities?

RMHC provide "home away from home" accomodation for families with children in hospital. There are currently 14 houses in the UK, all within a stone's throw of the children's ward. Many families travel miles so that their child can receive specialist medical care, but often staying close to their child can be a struggle. Many parents have to sleep on a chair by their child's bed or pay vast sums of money for hotel accomodation.

A number of Moore and Smalley employees have made use of RMHC facilities in the past, saying that the fact they existed made a huge difference at a difficult time in their children's lives, so we wanted to give something back...
