Story

Hi Everyone

We finished as planned and arrived at John O'Groats all in one piece barring Steve's little mishap with a greasy wooden bridge on a cycle path near Loch Lomond!   The British weather held true to form for 'flaming' June and it rained on 8 out of the 9 days, we also had lots of strong winds (not always in the right direction) and below average temperatures for the month.  All in all, the weather proved our biggest challenge and we didn't return with the planned suntan for our efforts!

We were very lucky to have a great team around us and thanks go to our support crews of Kevin and Nicki who looked after us from Lands End until Shrewsbury and then Fiona and Gabby, and of course little Willy-Bob, who took over and followed us all the way to the end.

By the time we get all the money in (and add in the tax relief) we hope to be close to our £5,000.00 target so on beghalf of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, thanks to everyone who has supported us.

All the best and once again, many thanks for your all support.

Steve and Ian
