Here's the deal: Dan and I will cycle about 1,000 miles from one end of the country to the other (Lands End to John o' Groats), sleeping in tents and almost certainly aching in places we don't yet even know exist. Why, you may ask, would any sane individual do this?

The Royal Marsden Hospital does amazing work for children with cancer, a topic that has become very close to my heart in recent times. "Life-saving", on this occasion, is no exaggeration. Dan and I would like to earn them a few pennies because my contact on the inside tells me that, brilliant as they are, they could use the cash. Who could put a price on a life?

Thank you, everybody, in advance.

-Will and Dan.
