Eventing is not for the faint of heart or unfit of body.   In our sport the equipment weighs 1000 lbs (560 kgs for you younger folk), speaks a different language and comes with a mind of it's own.   I'm old enough to know better and (currently) too unfit to succeed.   But, to honour somebody I love, I am about to undertake the most terrifying (to me!!) challenge possible.

Cancer; the big C, the silent killer......that shitty, sneaking, conniving b@stard disease that creeps up and steals loved ones when nobody is looking.   In my case it's a wonderful man called Norman aka Dad.   We don't know how long a time frame remains for him.   For me personally, hopefully enough time for him to see me achieve something on his behalf.

Please help me hit my target and together we can help finally defeat this disease.
