Here goes again!

I’m joining Help for Heroes on another challenge. There was only one challenge I could consider taking on that would be more extreme than the gruelling Moroccan 3 Peaks, so I’m off to Kilimanjaro!

In November 2016 I’ll be flying off to meet my team of fellow trekkers in the UK, before we head out to Tanzania together to take on the ‘Roof of Africa’. The 7 day challenge will take us through lush rainforest, up desolate scree slopes, underneath the volcanic plug known as the Lava Tower and past huge ice glaciers. Eventually climbing to the snow-capped Uhuru Peak, 5,896m (19,341 ft) above sea level – 1,729m higher than I’ve climbed before.

The one thing that is going to get me to the top of that mountain is knowing the good it will be doing for the men and women that are touched by this incredible charity. Please help me make it as worthwhile as possible by smashing my fundraising target! It doesn’t have to break the bank, everything helps!
