In April 2019 I will be joining Team H2H (including a brave bunch of Hanoi & Saigonite souls and... my Mum!!) to cycle 2,000 km from the north to the south of Vietnam - though mountain roads and mega hills and traffic and water buffalo and hazards and rain and sun and humidity and sore cycling bums and other challenges  - to raise money for 5 charities who do absolutely brilliant work to help break the cycle of poverty in the lives of Vietnam’s poorest children and youth, by providing access to education, healthcare, training and opportunities.

Vietnam has been my lovely home for the last 3 years, and this is a chance for me to give something back before I leave (sob!)

www. saigonchildren.com :enables disadvantaged children and young adults in Vietnam to overcome barriers to education through building schools, providing scholarships and vocational training. 

www.bluedragon.org : rescues vulnerable kids in crisis as a result of human trafficking, slavery and extreme poverty, re-uniting them with families, providing recovery services and practical solutions to everyday struggles. 

www.koto.com : 'Know One, Teach One' - empowers at risk young people by providing life skills and practical training in hospitality. 

www.liveandgive.eu : Runs schools and orphanages to help disadvantaged children in rural Vietnam.

www.facebook.com/ila.communitynetwork : Co-ordinates fundraising activities, provides scholarships and classes in shelters and orphanages to give disadvantaged children access to education. 

Riders cover ALL of their own expenses, so absolutely 100% of the money raised goes directly to the charities. Any donation, however small, will be hugely appreciated by me, the charities, and the children of Vietnam!
