Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Wilfrid's Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The above stuff is all the official blurby stuff which i thought that i would keep but now i am going to add my own ramblings

There are a number of reasons why i have decided to tourture myself by doing the london marathon, there is the personal challange, the fact that i have gained a few pounds which i want to get rid of, but the main reason that i am doing it is because the work the staff at St Wilfrids do is outstanding. My nandad died there back in june and the care and kindness the staff showed him (and us) was outstanding and they made his last days more comfortable, so in his memory (and to give something back) i am undertaking this madness of a challenge. Not only am i planning on running 26.2 miles but i also need to raise £1500, so i am asking everyone for the help with please show this to anyone who you think will be interested in helping me out.

I do have an online training blog if anyone wants a laugh. the website is www.realbuzz.com and please excuse my spelling it has got worse over the years

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
