The British Red Cross has launched an emergency appeal in response to the widespread flooding caused by a massive earthquake off the coast of Sumatra. Paul Anticoni, British Red Cross head of international aid: "The priority for the Red Cross is to get relief supplies into the region as quickly as possible and, if necessary, to send in teams of disaster response experts who can support the volunteers and staff already working in the affected countries."

Ken, the staff & the regulars of Latymers Public House, Hammersmith, London held a charity nite where all the money raised went to the Tsunami Appeal. £2270.00 was raised on the nite. *************************** *************************** ***************** ************ ********* A massive £410 was bid for:- An England football shirt signed by 1966 World Cup heroes Sir Geoff Hurst & Martin Peters. ****************************************** You can STILL MAKE A DONATION ONLINE & sponsor myself & other guest barstaff that worked behind the bar for free.
