It's now Monday 21st and we did it!  We crossed the line in about 2 hours 40 mins.  A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, both in donations and also encouragement.  We had loads of messages of support at the start and it was just fantastic.  Feel very privelaged to have been able to do this and to raise money for such a good cause.  Thanks again!  :-))))

Not long to go now and with the Great North Run just days away we are resting our weary legs and looking forward to that lovely glass of wine on Sunday evening!  Thanks so much to all of our friends and family who have given so generously so far. We are very near our target now and appreciate any donation, no matter how small, to help us to reach our goal.  Look out for us on the TV - we'll wave to the cameras!

For some background we are rugby mums from Lichfield who joined forces to run whilst spending our Sundays on the touchline at Lichfield's U7's.  We want to do the Great North Run to fight the flab and raise some money for Breast Cancer Charities.  We've all watched friends be affected and seen how devastating it is for them and their families. 

We know that you are bombarded for funds these days, any donation, however small, will be greatly appreciated to help us achieve our goal of £350.  This will then be ploughed into helping women and their families with Breast Cancer.
