I'm hoping to raise as much money as i can for the Neonatal Unit at the Countess of Chester NHS Trust, the Neonatal Unit was built in 1974 and is now outdaed in terms of decor and design. The charity exists no to replace NHS serivces, but to provide the "extras" over and above core NHS services by enhancing and improving facilities for our patients.

The Babygrow Appeal has been launched to raise £3 million to build a new Neonatal Unit that will provide better facilities and a more spacious environment for patients and their families.

 

My daughter Lauren was also cared for by the wonderful nurses within the unit and therefore I am hoping to complete this race and raise money in order to show my gratitude and appreciation for the Neonatal Unit.
