Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

My friend Catherine, in her infinite foolishness, has decided she wants to do a charity walk for her birthday. It's 40 miles through the Lake District, and considering the furthest I usually walk is from the Maccie D's car park to the counter, it will certainly be a challenge for me!

I therefore urge you to sponsor me and my chosen charity, The British Heart Foundation - Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in America, the UK and Canada. Please make a contribution to this worthwhile cause - no donation is too small!

Be warned that if you are a close enough friend, I will pester you incessantly so why don't you save us both some time and get your wallet/purse out now?!

Thank you in advance!

More details about the charity can be found at http://www.bhf.org.uk/about_us/default.aspx and more on the walk itself at http://www.keswick2barrow.co.uk/
