Story
Thank you for visiting the KOP Cardiff 2014 Group Donations page.
KOP Cardiff is one of 16 university branches taking part in the KOP Student Programme 2014, raising money to support orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya.
By fundraising for KOP through the Student Programme, students not only have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of children living in poverty, but they get to see first-hand the positive impact their fundraising makes by visiting Kenya next summer. Students must pay for the trip themselves so that their fundraising can support the projects they'll be visiting.
Kenya is a country with over 7 million primary school-aged children who face significant challenges due to poor health and disease. Around 2,500,000 children in Kenya have lost one or both parents from poverty and AIDS.
KOP works with local partner organisations to improve children’s access to nutrition, health and education and give them a chance to lift themselves out of poverty.
In Kenya your donation goes a long way. £25 can provide school meals for 3 children for a whole month!
Please DONATE NOW so KOP Cardiff can continue supporting these children.
If you wish to support an individual please choose their personal fundraising page listed on the Cardiff team page. Or to make a general donation to KOP Cardiff fundraising then please donate here.
Thank you.
