In 2008, my mum was diagnosed with AML, (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) and after two months in hospital devastatingly passed away. At the time I was only twelve, and my whole world fell apart. She was my best friend, not only my mum. My mum was the funniest out going person I've ever known, and I feel special knowing I'm her daughter. After she passed away I was determined to make her proud. That's why I'm dedicated to raising money for this charity, and will do anything in my power to stop anyone else going through what I did at twelve years old. So therefore I'm dedicating my shave to my beautiful mum, who died at fourty two but also to everyone else suffering from the effects to Leukaemia. I'm extremely grateful for every donation received!
