No, I can't believe it either but...I MADE IT!!!!!
Climbing Kilimanjaro was by far the most physically and emotionally demanding challenge I have ever set myself.
Our team of 22 volunteers set off on 4th October for what would be a life changing trip to Africa. Our mission was to climb Kilimanjaro and raise money for three local projects in Tanzania and to provide funds for a number of youth charities at home in the UK.
There isn't enough room to write about what we saw at the Amani Childrens Home, the Village Education Project and the local hospital but needless to say we have all come home with the sights and sounds of the area firmly embedded in our minds.
