Lands End to John O'Groats, 24 July 2008
We provide therapies, support and help to people with neurological conditions

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Even though Sara was eventually told she doesn't have MS the folks at The West of England MS Therapy Centre Nailsea still get my vote and hopefully your money.

The therapy offered by the hospital was course after course of ineffectual steroids. The West of England MS Therapy Centre (it was called 'ARMS' then) instead offered real help, practical advice and gave Sara and myself a lot of hope at a time when things were pretty grim. The Centre continues this work and I would be really grateful if we could give a bit back.

The fundraising event is a bike ride with Alex Jackson from Land's end to John O'groats over 10 days. I was going to do a sponsored silence but I've got a realistic chance of finishing the bike ride.

Alex is fundraising for the Stroke Association and you can sponsor him at http://www.justgiving.com/alex-cycling-end-to-end

We've (actually it was Alex) set up a web site so you can see the route and check our progress at http://www.geocities.com/end2end_2008

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The West of England MS Therapy Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks for sponsoring me!!!
