Ok. I'm fortunate enough to be able to get involved in this charity and it is something I hold close to my heart. I'm lucky enough to be selected to go to Ethiopia in November with 20 volunteers to assist in building a drop in centre for the street children and I need to raise as much money as possible to help Retrak reach its target.

On 21st August ,2010, I am intending to abseil from the roof of the Manchester Velodrome. A freefall abseil of 110feet!!

If I survive that then i'll be running the Great Ethiopian 10km run in November at altitude.

 

Instead of me explaining what will happen with your money, go to the home page of Retrak and read some of the stories about these kids and their suffering......................it's hard to believe this goes on in the 21st century.
