NEVER AGAIN!!!
I really mean it this time too.
It was really tough from mile 15 onwards and I have to confess to walking quite a few times, which I didn't want to do. However the recent injuries and lack of proper training due to the injuries really told on me.
Add to that the half pint of London Pride I foolishly decided to drink just after mile 22 (nearly revisited me at mile 23!) and I was never going to beat my PB of 3:43, but I did come home in a respectable 3:46 so I am sitting here wondering what might have been if I had walked or the training and injuries had been better...still I have no intention of finding out.
Smaller, more sensible runs for me now.
A massive thank-you to everyone who sponsored me, I really appreciate it especially during the current financial climate.
