My name is Kerry Snode and I am a graduate. For the past 3 years I have focused on personal and academic development. Now I know it is time for me to dedicate my time to help others and more importantly to make a change. Since leaving University I have been working and writing a lifestyle blog. My blog will be a big part of hearing more about my jounrey with Raleigh International.
Raleigh International is a leading charity in sustainable development. In October I will be spending 10 weeks in India working closley with volunteers from India and the community to help them in what they need.
I need to raise £800 for Raleigh International who are one of the respected development charities that deliver ICS. It is important to understand that my fundraising doesn't go directly to
funding my placement. It raises awareness and helps fund the ICS
programme. The International Citizen Service (ICS) brings young people
together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most. The money raised will allow Raleigh to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work. Please take a look at Raleigh: http://raleighinternational.org/
One word I have always felt was fundamental in life is compassion. Compassion is something that will be encasing my whole experience with Raleigh. For me compassion is acting on the natural feeling of wanting to help others. Understanding what is happening around the world is completely fundamental. Through my understanding of the state of certain communities in India, I plan on using my compassion for others to make life-long changes.
I'll be taking part in many fundraising activities throughout the comings weeks and months. I would be more than greatful for any contribution you can make to this programme. Keep track of my progress by using any of these links:

You really can make a difference, a difference you will be able to see in a few months time. Please dig as deep as you can, even if it's a £1. It really does help.
Thank you SO much for your compassionate support.
