Story

Crossfit Solent are going to try to lift 1,000,000kg for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
On the 26th of July, we are going to try lift as much weight ground to overhead to be able to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Paul Butler, who I work with has CF and is an inspiring story on how lifting weight can change the prognosis on your life expectancy when suffering with an illness. He keeps his CF in check by keeping healthy and lifting shed loads of weight on a daily basis (and helps others keep healthy too!!).
So, as a box we are going to try to help raise money to help the CF Trust help others.
We aren't aiming on doing heavy lifts, just lots of them. It doesn't matter if you can only put a 4kg kettle bell over head, it all counts.
Between 9 and 11 will be Crossfit Solent Members lifting, and then 11 until 1 invite your friends and family to help out.
It will be £5 to join in and I will put the lift sheet on here (if I can!!) for you to download and get sponsorship for. 10 to 50p per kg is about all we ask for.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness for CF and how keeping fit and healthy can help everyone, mentally and physically, whether you are living with illness or not.
