Nicola, my Macmillan Nurse has made a huge difference to my quality of life while I've been ill. As well as providing support to myself and my family, she has arranged other services provided by Macmillan, including Physiotherapy, Counselling and reflexology treatments. I have met Macmillan volunteers and employees in three different hospitals and they have always been helpful and supportive giving useful advice about dealing with Cancer. Simple things like arranging for me to have a blue badge for parking has made a huge difference and has enabled me to continue to get out and about with friends whenever possible.

Finding out you have Cancer is very scary. Macmillan staff are there from the beginning offering support, answering questions and giving practical advice to patients and their families at an extremely difficult time. They provide a vital service.
