I'm running the Wild Warrior, a 5k eXtreme obstacle course race, which includes: The Swamp of Doom, Water Slides, Tightropes, Tunnels, Quick Sand, Giant Walls, Cargo Nets, Mud, Water and an Assault Course. I'm doing this run to raise funds for CDKL5, and have muddy good fun doing it! CDKL5 is the genetic condition that affects the daughter of a close family group of friends. CDKL5 is a rare X-linked genetic disorder that results in early onset, difficult to control seizures, and severe neuro-developmental impairment. In 2009 there were fewer than 200 cases worldwide, however, more and more children are being diagnosed as awareness of CDKL5 spreads. All funds raised through JustGiving will go direct to CDKL5.
