Karen sadly passed away on the 6th October 2013 after bravely fighting a glioma brain tumour for 8 years.

She was a caring and loving person, just like the people at Isabel Hospice. Karen's last weeks were spent there and remained dignified until the end.

The Hospice is mainly run on charitable donations, so any money raised in Karen's memory would be greatly received and put to good use in the care of other terminally ill people.
