Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My lovely friend Gow was cared for at the Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead last year. The staff there were truly amazing in their level of dedication and care. They helped Gow to make the difficult journey to a dignified death, and they helped and supported us, his family and friends, through this very stressful and painful time.

Many years ago, my mother, aunt and I were given tremendous support by Marie Curie nurses, in caring for my grandmother at home at the end of her life.

I'm taking part in the 'Hampstead Hug' walk, because I want to help raise awareness, and give something back.

Any donation, no matter it's size, will help towards maintaining the fantastic service that Marie Curie Cancer Care provide.
