Karaoke Aid II - The Sing Off
on 1 September 2010
on 1 September 2010
We work at the Symbian Foundation, you may remember us from the fundraising event Karaoke Aid and now we are back with Karaoke Aid 2 in aid of Your Story.
Friday, 24th September at The Crown public house, 108 Blackfriars Road, SE1 8HW
Once again we have some "volunteers" that are willing to sing to raise money, some soloists and groups.
To have your say in what they will sing, donate now and vote for the songs you want to hear on the night. (See the current voting results here)
If you fancy having a sing yourself then donate and come along, the more singers the better, it is really going to be a great night.
Your Story help rehabilitate and nurture children who have fallen out of 'the system' - whether that be out of school or society. These children usually come from disadvantaged backgrounds and have found themselves in some kind of trouble. Your Story has people who mentor these children and help them find their way back into 'the system' through physical and psychological coaching.
They are in desperate need of funding as the government
has cut their allowance per child from £600 down to £100 - that's just
£100 to rehabilitate a child and get them integrated back into society.

So please dig deep and donate now, tweet about it to @karaokeaid and follow us for updates.
