We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

On the 27th September, myself and seven team mates from The Walt Disney Company will be rowing our boat 22 miles down the River Thames.  We will be one of four Disney boats, along with 300 other boats rowing from London Docklands to Ham near Richmond in Surrey.  We’re hoping to finish the race in 3 hours, a seemingly impossible challenge for such rowing novices, but not only are we training really hard, we'll also have your generous donations and the wise words of a fictional boxer to drive us on: ‘It's about how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!’ Rocky Balboa, 2006

100% of the money raised for the Great River Race will go directly to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and towards the £50 million it needs every year just to stay open.   Together we have set a target of £50,000, so I hope you will support the amazing work that is done at Great Ormond Street every day and give as much as you can, even if that is just a few quid.

Thank You!
