I am lucky. I grew up with safe, stable housing and more than enough food in my belly. And I know that if misfortune were to strike, I would always have a warm bed and a hot meal in the homes of family or friends.

But not everyone is as lucky as I am.

So, I am sleeping under the stars for one night to help raise funds--and awareness--in aid of Scotland's homeless people.

Over 60,000 people presented themselves as homeless in Scotland last year. This was due to family problems, people losing jobs and not being able to afford their homes and drug, alcohol and gambling problems. Bethany helps people sort out the problems that have made them homeless, and to stop them becoming homeless again.
