Trekking Machu Picchu has been a dream of mine for years, so why not tick something off the bucket list whilst raising money for an incredible charity like Action Against Hunger UK? Choose A Challenge will be helping 13 of us from Lancaster University along with students from Manchester, Glasgow, Hull and Southampton. The expedition will be taking place in September 2015; between now and then, the Lancaster team aims to raise £60,000 for Action Against Hunger! My personal target is £3,000 - any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated. Between now and departing for Peru I will be taking part in plenty of sponsored events, from runs to bike rides.

55% of the money we raise will be going straight to Action Against Hunger and help them save the lives of thousands of children across the globe, particularly in Peru. The remainder of the money will help fund the student's trek; for all our hard work and fundraising we get a little in return for the effort.
