Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Following the success of previous endeavours, and as a natural extension of last year’s charity ride from London to Paris, this year I will be cycling from Paris to Geneva in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Setting off from the Eiffel tower, the emotional end point of last year’s challenge, I will be cycling for four consecutive days and covering distances of up to 100 miles each day before reaching the Jura mountains and the zig-zag ascent of the Col de la Faucille (a Tour de France regular) on the final day.
It promises to be an extremely testing challenge, although very minor compared to the challenge faced by cancer patients every day.
I have pledged to raise a minimum of £1850 to take part in the event, although I am aiming to raise much more than this so please support me in raising as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer by providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all. We can all help. Donations, no matter how big or small, will help them care for even more people living with cancer.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Cheers,
Jon
